Children’s Book Author Chris Cochrane Will Hold a Book-Signing Session at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2024

Up-and-coming children’s book author Chris Cochrane looks forward to attending the 2024 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, where he will sign copies of his books “The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter” and “Castle Forks.” The authors’ book signing event is organized by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet and will be held at their exhibit at booth #225.

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is the country’s largest literary festival. This free outdoor event brings storytellers, artists, publishers, and readers together to celebrate the beauty of literature, arts, and culture.

As an author and storyteller to his kids, Chris draws his writing inspiration from the world around him and his loving family. Though a salesman by trade, he’ll always find ways to let his imagination free from his brain every now and then. His imagination and creativity are both manifested in his two children’s books: the illustrated book “The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter” and the fantasy novel “Castle Forks.”

“The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter” is a hit with kids who love strange, new creatures with wonderfully weird names. The book tells the story of two sisters, Olivia and Caroline, who try to uncover the mystery behind their magically completed chores. When their father suggests that a peculiar creature may be the unseen helper, they set out to find this mysterious being so they can give thanks.

“Castle Forks” is Chris’ first foray into writing fantasy. The book is an adventure into a more supernatural corner of the world hidden in plain sight, taking readers on a magical journey with a boy who never expected it. The fantasy novel follows the author himself, reimagined as a little boy on a hunting trip with his father. They encounter a peculiar creature who invites them into a strange castle that stands in plain view yet is also invisible and within which is a world filled with dark secrets and an ancient enemy of humanity.
