CEVA Logistics wins Top Green Company in ACES Asia Awards

CEVA a winner in 2023 Asia Corporate Excellency & Sustainability (ACES) Awards for second consecutive year.

• CEVA Logistics recognized for its environmental policies, actions in Asia 

• Second award for CEVA from prestigious awarding body 

• 2023 Gala ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur

CEVA Logistics representatives received their award as a Top Green Company in Asia at a gala ceremony in Kuala Lumpur for the 2023 Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainabilty (ACES) Awards.   

CEVA’s Yenn Ng, HR manager, and Jaiganesh M Velamuthu, head of contract logistics for Malaysia, collected the award during the ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental. This was the 10th year of the ACES Awards and the second year running that CEVA Logistics has received an award. In 2022, CEVA’s ACES award recognized its green initiatives implemented in Singapore, while this year CEVA won for its sustainability activity across the entire Asia Pacific region.     

The ACES Awards recognize successful companies and individuals in Asia across two main domains; leadership and corporate social responsibility. The awards value and recognize services and achievements of businesses, both large and small, national and international, for their esteemed contributions to their communities and the world. 

In order to receive the award, CEVA was evaluated on its environmental policies, procedures and commitment to sustainability by representatives of the MORS Group and the ACES Awards judging panel. CEVA received the Top Green Company in Asia award thanks to the fact that its business operations yield minimal negative impact on the environment, community and society. The award recognizes that CEVA undertakes environmentally friendly activities in all areas of the organization, to ensure that its processes, solutions and activities address current environmental concerns. 

CEVA Logistics was commended by the judges for its sustainability policies and commitments, including: 

• Advancing green initiatives across contract logistics, by incorporating eco-friendly practices and technologies across transportation, warehousing, distribution and supply chain management processes. 

• Installing LED lighting across all CEVA warehouses. 

• Investing in solar panels and powering all warehouses with low carbon electricity by 2025. 

• Establishing measurable goals for eco-friendly initiatives, including adopting alternative fuels such as biofuel and natural gas. 

• Tracking environmental metrics such as energy consumption, waste management and CO2 emissions. 

• Transitioning its ground fleet to low-carbon fuels. 

• Working with its vendors to integrate sustainability along the entire supply chain.
