Philadelphia 76ers Announce Details for Sixth Annual Sixers Youth Foundation Gala

The Philadelphia 76ers announced today details for its sixth annual Sixers Youth Foundation Gala on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at Please Touch Museum (4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131). Proceeds from the event will support the Sixers Youth Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to bringing positive, meaningful change through the sport of basketball to the lives of young people in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Last year, the Sixers Youth Foundation raised more than $1.5 million, the most ever in the Gala’s five-year run.

This year, the Gala will celebrate “50 Years of Hip Hop,” showcasing its evolution through live entertainment. 76ers players, executives, and alumni will join Franklin, the team’s mascot, and Squad 76 at the museum, celebrating with those in attendance. “Now more than ever, there is a need across the Greater Philadelphia region for more programming designed to positively impact, support and inspire our youth,” said Marjorie Harris, Board Chair, Sixers Youth Foundation. “The annual Sixers Youth Foundation Gala gives us the opportunity to do just that by raising funds to support organizations that create valuable youth sports and education-based programming in the communities we serve. The best part is that our Gala is one of the most unique and fun nights of the year, where you’ll get to mingle with 76ers stars past and present, listen to amazing live performers, and enjoy great food and drink.”

In addition to attending the Gala in-person, fans can support the Sixers Youth Foundation through the team’s online auction, featuring special items and experiences. The online auction goes live on Jan. 12 and runs through 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 17. Fans can bid on items and experiences at SixersYouthFoundation.org or in-person at the Gala.
