Singer-Songwriter Benson Boone, Warner Music Asia, and The Hong Kong Tourism Board Join Forces To Spotlight The Hidden Gems of Hong Kong

Together, they have produced a captivating video showcasing the lesser-known aspects of Hong Kong, highlighting the city’s natural beauty and outdoor experiences beyond its bustling urban landscape.

In the video, which was filmed during his first trip to Hong Kong, Benson, celebrated for his soulful voice and emotionally charged lyrics, ventured away from the urban jungle to explore the great outdoors. He embarked on a remarkable journey to Sai Kung – known as ‘Hong Kong’s last backyard garden’, where he immersed himself in the breathtaking natural landscapes and experienced the unique culture and cuisine the territory has to offer.

Benson has taken the world by storm with his captivating music. Despite being only 21 years old, he has already accumulated a massive following, boasting more than 1.7 billion global streams and a staggering 5 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Being a big fan of outdoor sports and activities, Benson’s unwavering passion prompted the Hong Kong Tourism Board to curate this unique itinerary to suit his interests. Inviting Benson to immerse himself in a plethora of experiences, ranging from serene sampan rides, catching fish with the locals in Kau Sai Chau, kayaking amidst the stunning beaches in Sai Kung, and savoring delectable seafood and iconic local delicacies like the renowned pineapple bun. 

Commenting on the collaboration, Benson said: “Being a very outdoorsy person, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for nature and it’s a way for me to escape and reset myself. I was blown away by Hong Kong and had no idea it was like this, as I always imagined it to be just a beautiful city with bright lights and tall buildings. Sai Kung reminded me of Hawaii with all the little islands and crystal-clear water!”
