David Witherington Stewart Introduces the Capabilities of Nanobots in His Sci-fi Book “Angel of Mortality”

David Witherington Stewart’s science fiction novel “Angel of Mortality: Defender of Life… Creator of Chaos” was showcased by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair. The book trade fair was held at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, last October 18-22, 2023.

David Witherington Stewart’s “Angel of Mortality” follows Dr. Raisa Ilyushkin, who invents a device called SANG (Serial Artificial Intelligence Nanobot Generator) that can create continent-sized organisms – the Xenoborgs. The Xenoborgs are an incorporation of nanobots, artificial intelligence, and robotics into an efficient living machine.

However, SANG gets into the hands of Stepan Pavlovich. Stephan is the boss of the Apparat, an international crime syndicate. He uses the SANG for his evil purposes, including mass murder to reduce the world population.

Raisa must stop Stepan before he destroys civilization, which would also cause the Xenoborgs to get out of control and end all life on Earth. In the meantime, the Xenoborgs develop personalities and social order of their own.

Author’s Biography

David W. Stewart has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Florida in 1959 and an impressive 40-year career as a lead engineer, supervisor, and manager on several space programs. He started writing in 1995, took his first course from Writers’ Digest School in 1998, and won first place for non-fiction from the Space Coast Writers’ Guild in 2000. In 2001, he began taking novel writing courses from Humber College, and published “Psychic Redemption” in 2009, quickly followed by “Within the Wind” in 2010. He then wrote “Serious Consequences,” a follow-on from “Within the Wind,” and “Cabrera Landing,” a fantasy. After that, he spent several years putting together his memoir, “Seeking Success.” “Seeking Success” has been widely read on Academia, because it gives a worms-eye view of the US Space Program.
