Margret V. Oglesby’s Seven Steps of Faith Travelling with God Soon to Exhibit at the 2023 Guadalajara International Book Fair

Around the end of the year, avid readers in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico, excitedly await the annual Guadalajara International Book Fair. Also known as Feria Internacíonal del Libro de Guadalajara (FIL), it is the Americas’ largest global book fair and also a massive cultural event that showcases authors sharing a wide variety of ideas and viewpoints as well as personal stories.

Therefore, it’s not surprising to also find new Christian writers like Margret Oglesby exhibiting their first ever publication.

The title of her book is “Seven Steps of Faith Traveling with God.” The book is dedicated to several women of faith who deeply inspired Oglesby through her own spiritual journey (and also formed the core theme of her book).

These women were such great exemplars of unwavering devotion and faith in God that Oglesby was prompted to share a guide so that others can also achieve the same sense of assurance.

While she’s a member of Christ the King United Church of Christ, Oglesby has great sympathy for those who find faith in God difficult. She herself underwent periods where she did not feel God was with her. But in hindsight, she realized that it was His way of having her grown in faith. Hence, she developed the seven steps in her book so that others in the same situation can gradually discover what having faith truly means.

Visitors to the Guadalajara International Book Fair 2023 can check out Margret V. Oglesby’s “Seven Steps of Faith Traveling with God” when it goes on display at the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet exhibit from November 25 to 29,2023. The book fair will occur at the Expo Guadalajara Convention Center, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and ReadersMagnet Bookstore.

Margret V. Oglesby will also be sharing more spiritual insights and words of wisdom at her own website, which is scheduled to launch very soon.

Margret V. Oglesbly attended Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock Arkansas for two years, and later earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri St. Louis in Sociology.

She founded “Stepping Out on Faith Production” in 1995 working with untapped talent of inner-city youth in St. Louis, Missouri. She has work in the corporate industry for over 25 years, but her true passion is writing and poetry since 1980.

Oglesbly said: “There were times in my life that I felt that God was not with me. I believe that these are the times that He wanted me to grown in faith.” As she stepped out on faith on her own personal journey, God revealed to her the seven steps of faith. “My greatest accomplishment was learning to depend on God and letting Him take full control of my life. Sometimes on your journey, you might feel you have taken s backstep, however be encouraged for there is one constant truth: God is with you on the journey. Keep the Faith.”
