Frankfurt Book Fair Exhibit Features Fantastical Children’s Book by New Author Chris Cochrane

Recognized as the largest book trade fair in the world, the Frankfurt Book Fair, also known as (Frankfurter Buchmesse), is an incredible opportunity for many new authors to feature their work on the global stage. Among them is Chris Cochrane, the author of a new children’s book, “The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter,” that revives the style of creating fantastically named creatures and tell tall tales.

A salesman by profession, Cochrane still has a love for storytelling, which he showcases with his own four kids. Drawing from his fondness of fantasy, sci-fi, and television, he has a witty knack for inventing new words with which he tells funny kids stories.

That’s why his wife urged him to share his talent with the world in the form of a book. Cochrane was able to exhibit “The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter” during the 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) with the help of ReadersMagnet, a self-publishing and book marketing firm.

Its story follows two little girls, Caroline and Olivia. These two sisters love playing around their room. However, something starts to look off. Chris Cochrane, an author gifted with an incredibly active imagination, has completed his new book “The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter,” a charming story centered around two young sisters who believe a friendly creature has been doing their chores for them, and set off with their dad to thank him for being such a helpful friend.

Fond of nature, sports, and fantasy and sci-fi movies and TV shows, author Chris Cochrane draws his writing inspiration from the world around him but most especially from his family: his wife Stephanie and their four children. A salesman with a bachelor’s degree in business, Chris writes to entertain and amuse and loves inventing weird and wacky words, phrases, and creatures with which to delight his children. At his wife’s suggestion, he began to write his stories down so that other children could enjoy them too.
