Minister Fay E.B. Smith is, above all else, a Born-Again Believer. She was born and raised and spent most of her life in Norfolk, Virginia. She now resides in Chesapeake with her loving husband, Richard Smith. She is the fourth child of eleven. She was the first of her siblings to go to college, get a degree, and come to know the Savior. After miraculously receiving a free ride to Virginia Wesleyan College and graduating with honors (Magna Cum Laude), afterward being written up in the Virginia-Pilot, the Associated Press later picked that up. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.

She has degrees and many letters behind her name, but the most important degree she received was a B.A., which stands for Born Again. Fay labored many years in the Ministry of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Norfolk, Virginia, serving as treasurer for 20 years. During this time, she studied the gospel relentlessly under the anointed preaching, teaching, and guidance of Bishop Clarence V. Russell, Jr.

Here, God blessed her with opportunities to preach and teach His word. In the secular world, God has blessed her to be an accomplished Certified Public Accountant who recently retired from being the Controller for the Regional Accounting Dept. for Lincoln Military Housing. Although she has worn many hats as daughter, sister, wife, mother, and Boss Lady, the hat that she esteems above all is that of being a Child of The Most High God.
