Kina Robinson’s “The Watermelon Tree” Will Be Displayed at the 2023 Guadalajara International Book Fair

Kina Robinson’s “The Watermelon Tree” will be exhibited by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Guadalajara International Book Fair. The book fair will be held at the Expo Guadalajara Convention Center, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, from November 25 to December 3, 2023.

ReadersMagnet brings the works of self-published and independent authors to national and international book events, such as the Guadalajara International Book Fair, which is the most important and largest book fair in the Spanish-speaking world. The Guadalajara International Book Fair, or the Feria Internacíonal del Libro de Guadalajara, is also the second-largest book event in the world, after the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) in Germany. The book fair also features a country or region as their guest of honor of the season, highlighting their strengths and impacts on literature.

Kina Robinson’s “The Watermelon Tree” is a children’s book that follows three kids with adventure in their minds: Chautny, Timmie, and Claire. These three kids all live together in an overseen Foster Care Home. As they embark on their adventure, they make an unusual discovery on their Group Home’s weekly outing. With this, they were not only granted the opportunity to have it, but they also learned great lessons in life.

“The Watermelon Tree” is illustrated to keep the young readers engaged with the story. The illustrations help them see and imagine what is happening in the story as their parent drives the story to continue. With this, a bond between the child and parent is strengthened through a bedtime story.

Kina Robinson is an author, storyteller, public speaker, and good nutrition advocate. She enjoys writing kids’ books that teaches foundations in character building and life essential skills. Kina has a degree in Journalism, Communications and a Certification in Biblical Studies from Belhaven University.
