Book on Positive Self-Identity and Career Development by Maria Silva-Amey Exhibited at the San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books 2023

Last August, the San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books 2023 drew in thousands of visitors from around the city to explore books with many exciting ideas, stories, and discoveries. Among these was “Culminating Experience Personal Theory” by Maria Silva-Amey. Silva-Amey is a long-time career counselor whose book was the result of combining different person-centric theories to help others achieve personal, fulfilling goals.

This year, the 7^th San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books 2023 drew in many eager readers looking for new publications that can motivate and inspire. For those currently in the midst of a career search (and maybe even a soul search besides), they could find great answers in a book by Maria Silva-Amey. Its title is “Culminating Experience Personal Theory: Open Feelings Toward Choosing Your Dreams: How Self Identity Helps Us Understand Our Feelings Toward Career Paths and How We Can Accept Different Directions and Choices”. Maria Alice Silva-Amey, M.S. was born in Brazil and immigrated to the United States where she earned an AA degree in Literature and Language, followed by a B.S. in International Business and a Master of Science degree in Counseling.
