New Horizons: Recent Renovations Elevate Grande Dunes Golf Club

State-of-the-Art Greens
Grande Dunes Golf Club has recently installed new TifEagle ultradwarf bermudagrass greens as part of its extensive renovation project. This cutting- edge grass type ensures smoother, faster, and more consistent putting surfaces, elevating the overall golfing experience.

Enhanced Putting Surfaces
The renovation reclaimed nearly 40,000-square feet of putting surface, an increase of 33 percent. This restoration brings the course’s putting surfaces back to their original size, offering golfers more challenging and versatile greens.

Bunker Improvements
The bunkers at Grande Dunes have been restored to their original shape and contours, significantly improving their visual appeal. Additionally, the installation of new Capillary Concrete bunker liners has greatly enhanced the conditioning and playability of the course’s bunkers.

Fairway Expansion
Grande Dunes has expanded its fairways by eight acres, providing golfers with more room to play and fewer excuses to miss some of Myrtle Beach’s largest fairways.

Clubhouse and Dining
The improvements to the course are complemented by the overhaul of the Grande Dunes clubhouse and the opening of Terrazza 19, a new onsite restaurant that has received rave reviews from both golfers and area residents.
