“I write these stories to help us remember that God is alive in the lives of mere mortals like you and me.” – Victoria Udo. The God I Know.

Victoria Udo’s book, “The God I Know: Amazing Supernatural Encounters with Jesus,” was showcased by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books. The book festival was last held on August 19, 2023, at the University of San Diego, San Diego, CA.

ReadersMagnet supports self-published and independent authors with a wide range of publishing and marketing services, one of which is book exhibits at major book events, such as the San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books. By exhibiting at book events, authors are able to boost their marketing efforts and author brand and meet readers, fellow authors, and other stakeholders of the book publishing industry.

The ReadersMagnet exhibit booth was packed with visitors checking out books by new and established authors. Among the books that attracted the interests of festivalgoers was the Christian non-fiction book “The God I Know” by Victoria Udo. The author went to the event with her husband and saw that festivalgoers took the time to check her book out.

“The God I Know” is the author’s testament to the unwavering faith, love, and infinite mercies of God. The testament is set against the background of Psalm 23, which declares, “… Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me….”

The book chronicles the remarkable story of a fatherless child in Africa who experienced divine protection during the tumultuous Biafran war. From there, Victoria shares how God fought for her during her university years and eventually guided her to a new home in America.

In this book, the author reveals that God is not merely a figure from Scripture but a living God who manifests Himself through supernatural encounters. Through these extraordinary experiences, Victoria encountered Jesus as the Savior who transformed her life, rescued her from danger on a jungle farm, and sent heavenly messengers to bring messages of hope and deliverance.

It serves as a reminder of the power of prevailing prayer and the faithfulness of Jesus. It imparts a warning from God about impending doom, stressing the importance of sincere repentance and daily obedience to Him.
