Stephen Redic’s “Tying My Shoes” Provided a Poetic Way of Storytelling at the 2023 San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books

Author’s Biography

Growing up in rural northern Maine, Stephen wanted to write from an early age. Exposed to poetry in a High School workshop, he’s been, after two bouts with Cancer, writing ever since. Publishing from fear in 2009 his 1st book “Out of the Rain” was a collection from the first 30 years of his work. This second book is the culmination of touring the Slam Poetry world and the more conservative classic poetry circles and performing over the last ten years.
