Jeff lives with a language-based learning disability that has shaped his entire life. As a child, he entered school eager to learn and make friends, but the public schools needed to know how to provide Jeff with the educational experience he needed and deserved. In 4th grade, he and his parents were told he would never finish high school and could never live independently. In 5th grade, Jeff transferred to Landmark School in Massachusetts. There he learned how smart he was and could do whatever he wanted.

“Team Jeff” rallied behind him at Landmark and in the years to come. That group of teachers, family, and friends supported him on his journey through high school, college, and graduate school, to where he is now--a board-certified nurse practitioner.
