“You are a member of that body whose head is God. To know yourself intimately, learn first that you are one sent by God.” – Llewellyn Wallace and Ethel Burke, Ethel’s Journal

“Ethel’s Journal: Unknown Yet Known,” co-authored by Llewellyn Wallace and the late Ethel Burke, covers a wide range of biblical topics, mainly Ethel’s belief and faith in a God that loves mankind. She believes that the Savior can and will save anyone who believes in His word and gives hope to all.

The book introduces the readers to a question: “Who are you?” This question provides scenarios of different people who are presented with the question and which they answer in their own words. Some find it difficult, while some answer it candidly.

“Who are you?” is a simple question that also drives readers to know who they are and who God is. The book shares knowledge about who God is, His works, and His glory. The authors provide inspirational sermons that will remind the readers about what God can do.

“Ethel’s Journal” also talks about science and the origin of life on Earth. It challenges the scientific field with the biblical scriptures and compares how both impact the beliefs of the people.

Readers are presented with scriptures that support the authors’ ideas in their passages. The authors also use these scriptures to let the readers reflect on the Word of God.

The authors also bring their readers on a journey and let them know how Satan works. The book delves into the supernatural and sets everything to how God has a wise plan for all.

Setting supernatural powers and entities aside, “Ethel’s Journal” also talks about medical science, drugs, and the human body systems. These topics allow the readers to have a peek at the current world and how everything is related.
