Jamie Pulos-Fry’s Powerful Testimony About Becoming Christian Servant Despite Terrible Tragedy Exhibited at Hong Kong Book Fair 2023

Many devout Christians regard resilience as a remarkable sign of faith and God’s hand at work. But for Jamie Pulos-Fry, there can be so much more. And in her book, “Encouraging A Friend With Our Trials,” she shows how the biggest tests of faith can also bring people closer to God and then, in turn, make them into instruments that bring others to Him. The book is currently touring at various book events, including the recent Hong Kong Book Fair.

“Your book is written from an honest and sincere heart which reflects the “token of grace” you are to so many people because of the trials you have had in your life and how God has brought you through them. We know as believers that God will use us to minister to others who face those same trials in the future because we have “lived it’ and came through as “gold” due to God’s refining.” Mrs. Nancy Lusk, Choir member at Lancaster Baptist Church, Lancaster, California

Visitors to the Hong Kong International Book Fair were able to explore dozens of new publications sharing incredible new ideas meant to transform lives and improve people’s perspective of the world.

However, there were also plenty of other books that shared age-old wisdom, including a number of books by Christian authors like Jamie Pulos-Fry, author of the book “Encouraging a Friend With Our Trials.”

Pulos-Fry is actually the author of several books that she had been sharing with her local church community. But in recent years, she felt called to send her books further abroad as her own way of spreading the Christian message.

In the case of the Hong Kong Book Fair, that message is the one found in “Encouraging a Friend With Our Trials.” The book was on display with the help of ReadersMagnet, a book marketing and self-publishing company.

The book is actually a very open and honest sharing of her own tragedy and how it has helped her grow in faith. For despite how things look for her now, Pulos-Fry actually suffered a very terrible vehicular accident that left her both physically and spiritually crippled.

But as she further explains in the book, the experience, followed by her recovery time in the hospital, gave her a better understanding of what God wanted to achieve even in this dark time in her life.

“Encouraging a Friend With Our Trials” certainly moved many visitors who read it during the book fair. Readers can order a copy of the book on Blurb.
