Jacqueline King’s Book Brings Christian Youth Voices to the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023

The Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) is regarded as one of the biggest publishing and marketing events of the year. Representatives from thousands of global publishers will be gathered for five days of networking, conferences, and exhibits featuring the newest authors.

It is for that reason that many authors consider this an opportunity to share their message to numerous readers with the hopes it will draw enough attention to the messages they share in their work.

However, Jacqueline King is one of the few whose book represents not merely her own voice. It’s the voice of the many young Christians she has served in her ministry.

Her book’s title is “From the Mouth of Babes.” King is a certified and very experienced youth counselor who has done work in a number of outreach initiatives. She’s worked with the New England Home of Little Wanderers, the Department of Youth Services, and the Boston Ten Point Coalition, among others.

Through her own story, she has listened to the stories of countless young men and women who struggle to find God in today’s tumultuous world. Her book lets them, in their own words, show others that they are still relatable human beings. And like many of today’s human beings, they want to make sense of the near uncountable messages being broadcast to them while still listening to God’s voice.

Author Bio

Jacqueline King was born in Antigua, West Indies. She migrated to Montserrat at an early age, where she lived for about fifteen years before moving to the United States. Jacqueline has always been an Avid reader, and it was out of her love for reading that she developed a passion for writing. While attending Grade School in the Caribbean, she was known for writing excellent compositions, which were often displayed in her classroom for other students to read. Throughout the years she has written short stories for Sunday Lessons, as well as poems; all of which she kept but never published. “From the Mouth of Babes” would be her first publication, but certainly not her last.

Jacqueline is also a wife, a mother and grandmother. She resides in Florida with her husband Cedric King. Jacqueline holds Degrees Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice, and Christian Counseling. She is a life-long learner who is always seeking the next opportunity. Jacqueline has served her local church for years as Youth Minister and Mentor, she has volunteered in her community as Guardian ad Litem FL, Big Sister, Little Sister Program, Department of Youth Services, MA; Boston Ten Point Coalition, and New England Home for Little Wanderers. Jacqueline also holds certification in Crisis Management and Youth Counseling.

In her spare time, she enjoys long walks, as well as gardening. She is passionate about young people and believe that God has called her to serve in that area. She accepts the call gracefully.
