“Nirander Safaya’s poems have a rare intellectual depth and lyricism.” – Foreword Clarion Review

Dr. Nirander Safaya’s “The Beauty of Being Human” was exhibited at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. The book festival ran from April 22 to 23, 2023, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

Safaya’s book was displayed by ReadersMagnet, a self-publishing and book marketing company, showcasing the book, alongside several other titles, at the country’s largest book fair. The company aims to share the works of self-published authors at the L.A. Times Festival of Books and other big book events in the country and the world. Book displays help authors get connected with booksellers, avid readers, and fellow authors.

“The Beauty of Being Human” is a collection of 200 exquisite and eloquent poems that focuses on what it means to be human. The poems take the readers on a panoramic journey of self-discovery. Each piece would talk about life, love, light, and consciousness. Attachment to life, desire to love and be loved, thirst for knowledge, and consciousness are the hallmarks of human nature. These poems portray the beauty and challenges of human gifts and aspirations.

Humans, Homo sapiens, are highly evolved and blessed organisms on Earth. They possess a plethora of feelings, emotions, and desires. With these qualities, human beings also possess intellect, reasoning faculty, logic, and memory to varying degrees. However, there is still a failure to attain perfect love, peace, or spiritual fulfillment because the right kind of behavioral method or understanding is not applied.

The poems by Safaya are written in a neo-classical style, which means the art form characterizes order, accuracy, and structure. Being in this genre, the poet delves deep into science vs. religion, matter vs. spirit, logic vs. emotion, and life conundrums that people tend to ask themselves.

Readers who are into thought-provoking forms of literature can get a copy of Dr. Nirander Safaya’s “The Beauty of Being Human” on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
