Whimsically Worded Children’s Book by Chris Cochrane Displayed at the Hong Kong Book Fair 2023

The Hong Kong Book Fair 2023 was a great opportunity for many recently published children’s book authors who were looking to expand to new young audiences across Asia.

It was certainly the case for Chris Cochrane, whose book was displayed by ReadersMagnet, a book marketing and self-publishing company, at the recently-concluded book fair.

Cochrane’s book was titled “The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter,” and its story is in the spirit of many weirdly worded yet lovable stories about wildly imagined creatures.

It follows the story of two young sisters, Olivia and Caroline, who stumble upon a peculiar mystery right in their own home.

It seems that no matter how many times they forget to clean their room or give it a dusting, someone still manages to do it for them. However, they just can’t find out who. Their parents appear to be busy, and it really looks like there is someone else hiding and going around the house.

That is when they decide to ask their Dad and tell them the truth: That there really is a creature in the house helping the girls tidy up their room. Its name is “the Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter,” and it is time they look for it so they can give it thanks.

Of course, the girls first thought that their Dad is just being silly. But whether it is true or not, it make for quite a little adventure as they search for this mysterious little helper.

Chris Cochrane, an author gifted with an incredibly active imagination, has completed his new book “The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter,” a charming story centered around two young sisters who believe a friendly creature has been doing their chores for them, and set off with their dad to thank him for being such a helpful friend.

Fond of nature, sports, and fantasy and sci-fi movies and TV shows, author Chris Cochrane draws his writing inspiration from the world around him but most especially from his family: his wife Stephanie and their four children. A salesman with a bachelor’s degree in business, Chris writes to entertain and amuse and loves inventing weird and wacky words, phrases, and creatures with which to delight his children.
