“It helps children understand that to be truly hopeful, you should place your hope in Jesus.” – Louise A. Harris, Amazon customer.

The Christian motivational self-help book “What Hope Looks Like” by Tamie Stockman-Heagy will be displayed by self-publishing and book publishing company ReadersMagnet at the Printers Row Lit Fest 2023. The book fair and literary festival will take place at Printers Row Park in South Loop, Chicago, Illinois, on September 9-10, 2023.

Organized by the Near South Planning Board, the Printers Row Lit Fest is the largest outdoor literary event in the Midwest, attracting more than 100,000 visitors. This community-based festival features book exhibits along Dearborn Street, from Polk Street to the newly renamed Ida B. Wells Drive in Chicago. Aside from the book displays, the Printers Row Lit Fest also features book signings, panel discussions, staged readings, and various other programs for adults, young adults, and children.

“What Hope Looks Like” is a unique narrative that seamlessly transitions from Santa’s boundless generosity to the profound message of finding true hope in Christ. Stockman-Heagy unveils a story that will captivate hearts and inspire minds.

The year 2020 was a period of unprecedented change, with the global pandemic leaving countless individuals in a state of uncertainty. The author acknowledges the weight of these challenges, remarking, “Time brings so many changes,” but her tale goes beyond mere observation.

It delves into the struggles of finding solid ground amidst adversity, with time itself seemingly working against people, leaving them longing for trust and hope. Stockman-Heagy weaves a narrative that transcends the boundaries of time, unveiling the true essence of hope found in Christ.

Drawing inspiration from Psalm 139:16, she emphasizes that Christ is intimately aware of people’s existence, knowing their days “before one of them came to be.” This profound understanding allows Him to hold people in His “right hand,” offering solace and guidance in times of need.

The heart of the book lies in the teachings of Christ, revealed through His Word and the life He led. Stockman-Heagy skillfully imparts the message that generosity and love should extend far beyond the festive season, emphasizing the importance of helping one another throughout the year. As Luke 10:42 reminds everyone, the “one thing that is needful” is God’s message of love and hope, a lesson even Santa learns in this extraordinary tale.

With an engaging narrative and heartfelt prose, “What Hope Looks Like” is a book that will leave readers inspired and renewed. Stockman-Heagy’s words remind readers that even in the darkest times, hope can be found when they embrace the lessons of Christ and extend a helping hand to those in need.
