Institutional Investor 2023: JBS leads the ranking in the main categories of the food sector

JBS executives were recognized for the second consecutive time as the best CEO, CFO and Investor Relations professional in the food and beverage sector in Latin America, by one of the main financial market publications, Institutional Investor magazine elected. The result reinforces the consistency of JBS’ relationship work with the financial market and investors.

The individual award for Best CEO went to Gilberto Tomazoni, while Guilherme Cavalcanti received Best CFO. Both maintained the leadership achieved last year. The same occurred in the “Best IR Program” category, which was once again awarded to JBS. Director Christiane Assis was considered the best IR professional. Her team, the best Investor Relations team. The Board of Directors of JBS also ranked first in the category. In addition, the company was also among the 49 classified as “Most Honored”, considering all sectors analyzed by the Institutional Investor’s Latin America award.

Rankings are based on votes from over 1100 industry professionals across 19 industries. For Best Investor Relations Program, companies were evaluated on 8 performance attributes: (1) Consistency, (2) Granularity, (3) Time to market, (4) Authority and credibility, (5) Business and knowledge of the market, (6) Results conference calls, (7) Responsiveness and (8) Virtual meetings/presentations.
