Bobbi Menlove is a mother of five and a grandmother of two. For several years she was the primary caretaker of her granddaughter, who inspired this book series. She worked as a social worker for Child Protective Services before retiring. She has over 20 years of experience working with special needs children, particularly children on the autism spectrum.

Bobbi has a degree in psychology and three years of graduate school in mental health counseling. She took a break from her education to tend to her granddaughter and found it an advantageous change of pace. She loves being a grandmother and enjoys creating memories with her grandkids. The rest of her time is spent working on home improvements, learning and developing new talents and writing books.
