David Witherington Stewart’s “Angel of Mortality” Will Be Exhibited at the 2023 Frankfurter Buchmesse

David Witherington Stewart’s “Angel of Mortality: Defender of Life… Creator of Chaos” will be displayed at the 2023 Frankfurter Buchmesse, which will take place at Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, 60327 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on October 18-22, 2023.

Frankfurter Buchmesse, also known as the Frankfurter Book Fair, is the largest international trade fair for books and magazines. Frankfurter Buchmesse GmbH organizes the event annually, helping their customers connect with the key players in the respective book and media industry markets. Participants that visit the book fair include authors, publishers, booksellers, librarians, agents, academics, illustrators, film producers, artists, antiquarians, software & multimedia suppliers, and more.

“Angel of Mortality” is a book that follows Dr. Raisa Ilyushkin, a Ukrainian biochemist commissioned to research nanobot organisms. She creates the SANG (Serial Artificial Intelligence Nanobot Generator), a machine that manufactures continent-sized xenoborgs—artificial life combining nanotechnology, robotics, and artificial intelligence. The transnational crime organization, Apparat, led by Stepan Pavlovich, steals a copy of the SANG to create weapons that threaten to destroy civilization, reduce the Earth’s population, and establish a criminal empire.

The xenoborgs develop personalities and a social order. Raisa moves fast to save everyone. She leads national security organizations and scientists worldwide to destroy Pavlovich’s war machines, TYPHON and BRACA, with her defense organisms, EVE and SUNESUN.

Author’s Biography
David W. Stewart has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Florida in 1959 and an impressive 40-year career as a lead engineer, supervisor, and manager on several space programs. He started writing in 1995, took his first course from Writers’ Digest School in 1998, and won first place for non-fiction from the Space Coast Writers’ Guild in 2000. In 2001, he began taking novel writing courses from Humber College, and published “Psychic Redemption” in 2009, quickly followed by “Within the Wind” in 2010. He then wrote “Serious Consequences,” a follow-on from “Within the Wind,” and “Cabrera Landing,” a fantasy. After that, he spent several years putting together his memoir, “Seeking Success.” “Seeking Success” has been widely read on Academia, because it gives a worms-eye view of the US Space Program.
