Kasi Howard is a Texas native and Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about seeing people find freedom from shame, anxiety, and trauma. Seeing that no facilities specialized in trauma treatment, Dr. Howard created the Innova Recovery Center as a place where people could heal from the wounds of their past. She advocates for specialized care, ensuring that every client is matched with someone trained in their area of need.

She has written a book, “Strength for the Journey,” that has helped countless people find freedom from their shame, anxiety, and depression. Dr. Howard served as President of the Bexar County Psychological Association. She has also taught at Trinity University and regularly contributed to MD Monthly magazine. She is a leader and expert in the field of trauma. She has also created a non-profit, the 42nd Warrior Battalion, to end child abuse through education.

In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, doing DIY projects, and exploring the world with her husband, son, and three-legged dog, Lucy.
