New courses available with The Prince’s Trust

The Leeds United Foundation are pleased to announce three new sets of course dates with The Prince’s Trust, giving youngsters the chance to take part in their Get Started with Football Coaching programme.

The club’s official charity will be running sessions for the I Can Lead Award in August 2023, October 2023, and February 2024, which will include a taster day ahead of a week-long course for each.

The week-long educational courses are perfect for those aged from 16 to 30 interested in improving their coaching skills, giving them the chance to learn about sports leadership and the ability to develop a future action plan.

Youngsters will also be able to meet lots of new people, build their confidence, improve their confidence and continue developing teamwork as well as their coaching skills, whilst gaining a new qualification.

The I Can Lead Award qualification will encourage participation and physical activity, helping to provide you with a springboard into leadership, whether that is as a coach, administrator or official.

If you are interested in taking part in the August course with the Leeds United Foundation and The Prince’s Trust, the taster day event will take place on Wednesday 2^nd August from 10am to 12pm at Elland Road. The week-long course will then take place from Monday 7^th August through to Friday 11^th August.
