Kerr, Enzo and Drogba star in EA SPORTS FC’s new era

EA SPORTS FC 24 will arrive on 29 September 2023 as Chelsea Women’s striker Sam Kerr, World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez and Blues legend Didier Drogba take a starring role in the first of a new era for the game, heralding the most authentic football experience yet.

EA SPORTS FC 24 has been revealed and is available to pre-order, featuring the best players from the biggest clubs, leagues and competitions around the world, which of course includes Chelsea, with Sam Kerr, Enzo Fernandez and Ultimate Team ICON Didier Drogba taking centre stage after being chosen as cover stars for the game’s reveal and launch.

They are certainly worthy of their place at front and centre in the new era for EA SPORTS, Kerr having fired Chelsea Women to an unprecedented fourth consecutive Women’s Super League title last season, Drogba scoring 164 goals during his nine seasons here, most famously in the 2012 Champions League final as we won the competition for the first time, while Enzo moved to Stamford Bridge in January after starring in Argentina’s 2022 World Cup triumph.

The Blues trio – along with the rest of the 19,000-plus fully licensed players, across 700 teams and 30 leagues, including the Premier League and Barclays Women’s Super League – are recreated in-game with unparalleled realism thanks to the introduction of HyperMotionV and PlayStyles optimised by Opta, which capture the game as it is really played and ensure player movements accurately reflect their real-life counterparts, heightening the individuality of each Chelsea player.
