“Outland Exile” follows a young Lieutenant named Malila Chiu, a veteran officer with well-earned fame, but finds her career in tatters. One of the reasons for her tattered career is vandalism at a distant “sniffer” station. She and her platoon embark on a mission to fix the issue at the station. During the mission, Malila finds herself waking up with a knife on her throat, discovering that her platoon has been murdered by a hideously ancient savage, Jesse Johnstone.
The author plays around a strong-willed female lead in a dystopian tale to share and provide readers insights into a parallel futuristic world as a result of a type of governance and rebellion that could paint the new face of America.

Author’s Biography
Born in Chicago and raised outside Philadelphia, Clark, a physician, has taught and practiced intensive care for newborn infants on four continents and eight countries, retiring after more than forty years on the job in 2020. He has been an avid solo hiker, backpacker, and climber since he was a mere lad of eleven. Some of his stories are even true.
He has traveled extensively to Rwanda, Kenya, India, Ecuador, Zambia, and Ghana as a volunteer mission physician.
