Diane Troup’s “Echoes of Loneliness” was Displayed at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books

Diane Troup’s “Echoes of Loneliness” was exhibited at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, held at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, last April 22-23, 2023.

The L.A. Times Festival of Books, which is the largest book festival in the country, showcases the published works from authors that will be signed, read, or purchased by readers, authors, and book marketers. ReadersMagnet, a self-publishing and book marketing company, displayed Troup’s book at the literary festival as a way to help the author build an author brand and gain readers.

“Echoes of Loneliness” is a Christian biography that follows Diane Troup as she faced storms in her life. She needed to power through her life’s hurricanes and seek strength from the Storm Creator as she discovered that the treacherous sea she got tossed into was a way for God to let her find peace, quiet, and healing.

Growing up, she experienced abandonment and abuse. Her mother left her and her brothers to fend for themselves. Her young brothers were also ripped from her life. The only thing left for her was to move on, even if her storm brought pain and despair. She felt unloved and unwanted. So, she leaned on the Creator of the Storm to help her find her way out of her dilemmas.

She realized that leaning on God helped her find redemption. Revisiting her past experiences opened up dark clouds where she found her silver lining. So, it’s the recounting of the pain and despair where she finally found her way out of the unkind winds that bothered her all her life.

Author’s Biography

Author Diane Troup currently lives in Laguna Woods, CA. She moved from PA December of 2014. She worked as a Trainer, Program Specialist, Program Manager, and Direct Care Worker for a non-profit agency (NHS Human Services) for mentally and physically challenged people. Diane enjoys volunteering and helping others in her community. Diane was blessed with four beautiful children, Eric, Christina (who has passed away in 2020), Shawn, and Ryan, who are the center of her world. She was further blessed with four beautiful granddaughters, Elizabeth, Molly, Allison, and Alexis. Diane’s motto is: “Life is a beautiful adventure; we need to enjoy all the blessings within.”
