Ramon R. Ermita’s “Mirabilia” Was Displayed at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books

Ramon R. Ermita’s “Mirabilia: Events of Divine Causation” was displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, which was held at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, last April 22-23, 2023.

The display of Ermita’s book was made possible by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet. The company exhibited “Mirabilia,” along with many other notable works by many authors, at the country’s largest book festival, which attracts an annual crowd of 150,000, comprising authors, book lovers, booksellers, and publishing industry and book marketing professionals.

“Mirabilia” follows Ramon R. Ermita as he grows up struggling with a respiratory condition, coping with the death of his mother, and keeping his faith in God to pursue the love of his life.

Ramon grew up with a problem in his respiratory system. After the death of his mother, he went on to join a gang and became an alcoholic. These events led him to a hospital bed in the care of a student nurse, Lucille, whom he pursued as he was struck by love at first sight.

Lucille’s parents didn’t like Ramon and sent her to the United States to let her pursue a career in nursing. With his father’s advice to seek God to get back on track, Ramon got the idea of following Lucille to the U.S.

The author shares how God’s blessings could help people see the miracles that come their way.
