Darlene’s journey began with enrolling in the Montgomery County Community College program for adult students, “New Choices/New Options.” She completed her associate degree program in six years, transitioned into a bachelor’s program in two years, and completed a master’s program in seven years. She persevered, maintaining an average GPA of 3.08 to 3.56.

Darlene’s book, written and completed in 2008, is finally ready to be shared with the world. The number fourteen, denoting a double measure of spiritual perfection, symbolizes the completion and rest she found in the seven-year process. This journey has allowed her to see God’s plan more clearly.

Author

Darlene is a woman on a mission for God. She is also a psychiatric rehab specialist. She was born and raised in Philadelphia and spent a significant portion of her adult life in Willow Grove. Furthermore, Darlene is an alumna of Montgomery County Community College (AS in Human Services), Chestnut Hill College (BS in Human Services), and received an MA in Christian Ministry from the School of Divinity at Liberty University. She also received a postgraduate certificate from the Behavioral Health and Science Military Resilience program.

Furthermore, Darlene is earnestly plugging away at the Doctor of Ministry program at Liberty University School of Divinity by the grace and strength of God. Moreover, she has a servant’s heart at her core and is passionate about helping people become healed, transformed, and whole. Darlene is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her goals are to do whatever it is that is in accordance with God’s will and will bring Him glory and help others along on their journey.
