Tighe Taylor’s Thrilling Novel of Kidnappers vs. Native American Heroes Heads Off to the Hong Kong Book Fair 2023

The Hong Kong Book Fair is one of the largest events of its kind in Asia, inviting creative literary minds both near and far to promote their latest publications.

One of the most recent works to be exhibited is an exciting crime novel by Tighe Taylor. Entitled “The Kidnapping of Isabel Miller.” It is one of the latest books starring his main heroine, Taylor Shaw, a farm girl turned crusading attorney.

This new novel follows a now much older Taylor as she is appointed to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Taylor then develops a close relationship with the local Native American community through the course of her work, and her involvement in their water rights case brings her head-to-head against drug-peddling gangster Dave Roberts.

Taylor’s work interferes with the crime lord’s plans to use food growing as a cover for his drug business, pushing him to his usual measures. He targets Taylor’s daughter Isabel, kidnapping her and threatens her life if Taylor continues her crusade.

Things hardly get better when Taylor has seen sufficient reason to mistrust local law enforcement to get her daughter back. She must work together with her new Native American friends to infiltrate Roberts’ mountain compound to rescue Isabel and expose the drug kingpin once and for all.

Visitors to the Hong Kong International Book Fair will have a chance to see how Taylor’s rescue mission plays out when the book is on display at the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet’s exhibit. The fair kicks off on July 19-25, 2023, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Expo Dr, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

Tighe Taylor is a graduate of Whittier College, School of Law, located in Los Angeles County. Presently, he lives and works in Los Angeles where, in addition to writing, owns and operates a real estate consulting business and law practice. His prior literary works include the book, The Tragic Death of Marina Habe, a true crime account of the most unfortunate kidnapping and murder of Marina Habe, a friend from junior high school, and two crime fiction novels, The Kidnapping of Tammy Fitzgerald and The Kidnapping of Taylor Shaw.
