Terry P. Rowe, a native of East Texas, is a graduate of Steven F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and also the Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. She furthered her education by attending classes at the University of Louisville and Spalding College in Louisville, Kentucky.

With ten years of teaching experience in the Jefferson County Public School System in Louisville, Kentucky, she specialized in instructing children from second to eighth grade. Additionally, she dedicated 17 years to teaching math, algebra, geometry, and biology at the Kentucky School for the Blind. Currently, she resides in southern Indiana.
