The University of San Diego hosts the San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books, which is now in its seventh year and open to book lovers, publishers, and authors of all ages. Linda Aurelia B. Blackmon was an executive administrator for a child protective agency. She studied human services in counseling and organizational management and leadership. Linda has worked as an adjunct instructor and is a certified Human Service Practitioner. She has three children and is currently retired in an “empty nest” with her husband. Linda enjoys taking walks with her husband and writing and gardening, as retirement has allowed her to enjoy such hobbies.
