New Online TV Station Launches with Video Contest

Ogden, Utah – A local business woman launches an innovative online TV site, www.northernutahtv.com today.
The station features local news, business, sports, college, high school, arts, entertainment, travel, and recreation channels on the internet according to founder Stephanie DeGraw.
“This site will be a great tool for educating the world about our area,” DeGraw said.
The online TV site will allow individuals and organizations to submit promotional videos, community news, college sports and activities, and general entertainment media.
Visitors to the site can leave comments about the videos that are available on the site 24/7 after approval.
“We need an outlet for issues and entertainment in northern Utah,” said DeGraw, “Northern Utah TV.com will be the new interactive information center where all view points are presented"
Some of the local shows will include college news, sports, and local news, she said.
To promote the launch, the station will be hosting “The Best Video” contest. Participants are encouraged to submit videos under the following eight channels: Local Issues, Sports, Business, Arts & Entertainment, High Schools, Colleges, Travel & Recreation, and General. DeGraw’s background includes managing the PAX network affiliate in Salt Lake City, assisting with Ogden’s Channel 17 and creator of Comcast Channel 95. She spent 24 years in advertising, journalism, and broadcasting.
