Ruling by the Supreme Court of Canada on accessible transportation

VIA reviewing decision – will continue to build on strong track record and constructive working relationships

MONTREAL - VIA Rail Canada has issued the following statement, after the Supreme Court of Canada made its ruling on accessible transportation in Canada.

“Having just received the ruling, VIA Rail Canada must now take time to review the decision before making further comment. VIA nonetheless looks forward to advancing this file toward a positive resolution.”

VIA is proud of the leadership role it has played over the past 25 years in advancing the cause of accessible public transportation for all Canadians.
