Dr. Jules Mitchel’s “Essays on Surviving COVID-19 and Beyond” was Exhibited at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books

Dr. Jules Mitchel’s “Essays on Surviving COVID-19 and Beyond: Lessons Learned from the Ancients to the Present” was displayed at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, held at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, last April 22-23, 2023.

The display of Dr. Mitchel’s book was made possible by ReadersMagnet, a self-publishing and book marketing company that supports self-published authors with their book marketing goals. The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books allows authors like Dr. Mitchel to showcase their works to approximately 150,000 attendees that include book lovers, authors, book marketing professionals, and publishing industry leaders.

Author’s Biography

Dr. Jules T. Mitchel, born and raised in New York City, earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at Queens College, his MS in Biology at the University of Oregon, his PhD in Biology from New York University and his MBA in Financial Economics from Pace University. Dr. Mitchel’s basic research included the developmental biology and aging of an unusual killifish from East Africa. After leaving basic research, Dr. Mitchel joined the pharmaceutical industry with positions at Ayerst Laboratories and Pfizer. Before founding THI Pharma Services, Inc. Dr. Mitchel co-founded Target Health Inc., a New York City full service Clinical Research organization (eCRO) dedicated to all aspects of Drug and Device Development, including Strategic Planning, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research, Data Management, Biostatistics and Medical Writing.
