Northrop Grumman Names Catherine Kuenzel, Jill Kale Information Technology Sector Vice Presidents

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Catherine Kuenzel vice president of Enterprise Infrastructure Services and Solutions, and Jill Kale vice president of Enterprise Applications and Systems Integration for the company’s Information Technology (IT) sector. Kuenzel and Kale report to David Zolet, president of Northrop Grumman IT’s Defense group.

In her new role, Kuenzel is responsible for growing and managing modernization, sustainment and information assurance of IT infrastructures for U.S. Department of Defense customers.

Kuenzel has held a variety of leadership positions within the company, most recently serving as acting president of the IT sector’s former Computing Systems business unit. She joined Northrop Grumman in 2002, serving as the director of the Intelligence group’s National Security Agency Business Operations. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland University College.

As vice president of Enterprise Applications and Systems Integration, Kale is focusing on systems integration and modernization in the human resources, finance, logistics, transportation, and combat support information technology markets for the Defense Department.

Kale was most recently vice president of Strategic Programs, Transitions and Processes for Northrop Grumman IT’s Commercial, State and Local group. Previously, she was a vice president of airborne surveillance for Northrop Grumman’s Electronic Systems sector. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, and a master’s degree from George Washington University, Washington.
