"Very well written, held my attention, enjoyed the book very much." - Tollie Smith, Amazon Review.

Self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet displayed the Native American culture book Apache Promise by Carol Ann Didier at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023 from April 22 to 23, 2023, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

Apache Promise is the highly anticipated second installment of the “Apache Warrior” series, originally published by Kensington Books in 2008. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of South-west Arizona in the 1860s, this remarkable novel explores the extraordinary bond between a Chiricahua Apache brave and a Baltimore belle, defying societal norms and cultural barriers.

In this book, readers are immersed in the gripping story of Amanda Carroll, a spirited young woman who finds herself kidnapped from a stagecoach en route to Tucson, where she had hoped to forge a new life for herself and her sister following the tragic loss of their parents in Baltimore.

Drawn into the forbidden love of a Chiricahua Apache warrior named Kayto, Amanda’s journey turns unexpectedly when Cochise, the renowned Apache chief, unleashes chaos with his warpath.

Determined to reunite with her uncle in Tucson, Amanda faces heartbreaking choices, leaving behind the man she loves while embracing the prospect of reuniting with her sister, who has found love with a gambler from their stagecoach days.

Through her book, Didier eloquently showcases that love knows no boundaries of color, creed, or race. It triumphs over cultural divides, hatred, and personal tragedy.
This remarkable novel is a testament to the power of love when it blossoms unexpectedly, weaving a tapestry of emotions that will captivate and move readers. Didier’s meticulous research and evocative prose transport readers to a time and place where the clash of cultures meets the resilience of the human spirit.

Carol Ann Didier is pleased to announce the publication of her inspirational book Trivia, Tea, and Me on Amazon Kindle. This is a short book of vignettes and true stories about divorce and recovery with God’s intervention and love. Carol also shares tea trivia and recipes.

Carol’s passion is the American West and its first Americans. In high school, all her book reports and term papers were about our westward expansion. As an adult, she was fortunate enough to visit some of the places she had researched, which only fueled her love for Native American lore and caused her to write the book of her heart, “Apache Warrior”.

She has been writing historical romances for ten years and is happy to present her second book, APACHE PROMISE, which follows “Apache Warrior”, published by Kensington Books in 2008. NAVAJO NIGHT was her second book for Kensington about a Navajo holy man, a preacher’s daughter from West Virginia, and a tragic period in Navajo history called “The Long Walk.” Her stories are about the taboo love between a Native American male and a white woman in the 1800s in South-west America.
Her stories prove that love knows no color, creed, or race; it happens in the heart when and where you least expect it, and if allowed to grow, it can conquer differences in culture, hatred, and personal loss.

She belongs to a local writers’ group, the Space Coast Writers’ Guild, and serves on their board as secretary. Carol has also been published in CHARISMA and LITERARY LIFT-OFF magazines. In her spare time, she writes inspirational vignettes, verses for greeting cards, and stories for her grandchildren. She resides on the east coast of Florida. Please visit
