Beverly K. Plauché’s “Walking with the Lord” was Exhibited at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books

Beverly K. Plauché’s “Walking with the Lord: What a Way to Go” was displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. The literary festival took place at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, last April 22-23, 2023.

“Walking with the Lord” follows Beverly K. Plauché as she tries to find a real relationship with God. She divorced her first husband and felt like she needed something but didn’t even know it. So, she prayed to God that she would meet a man who would sit with her in the church. She got her prayer answered the next Sunday and met Don Plauché, who made some changes in her life as she fulfilled the things she always wanted for a family.

Before finding love, Beverly had always been independent to the point that she was also independent of God. Though she prayed to God, she did not have a strong spiritual relationship. She found a special relationship with God only when things in her life went south. She lost her first marriage that her parents didn’t want to happen in the first place. She only realized a great connection and relationship with God when she found the love of her life in the church during a service.

Beverly let God lead her in her difficult life situations. With this autopilot, she found a new life that made things easier for her, even though connecting with God seemed difficult at first.

For thirty-three years, Beverly K. Plauché lived on her own, and she was very independent. She was married and had one child. The important thing to remember was that she was independent of God. She didn’t even know what she was missing. She thought she believed in God, but she did what she wanted when she wanted. She prayed to God. Sometimes her prayers were answered, but that special relationship with God just wasn’t there. She had quite a few good things happen in her life, but the best was yet to come. She divorced her first husband. She had a need and didn’t even know what it was. Remember that she wasn’t saved yet, but since she believed in God, she prayed that she would meet a man who would sit with her in church. The very next Sunday, that’s exactly what happened. She met Don Plauché. Wow! She had fifteen-year-old and six-month-old daughters. Don had never been married. It didn’t look like they fit, but God had a different story. God and Don really changed her life. Her heart was changed. She started thinking differently about things in her life. It didn’t happen overnight. It was a slow process, but the end results are marvelous. She actually started asking God for his direction before she did something. It was hard at first to let God do it his way, but once she made that decision, it was like she was on autopilot. “What a way to go!”
