Maryly Turner Publishes a New Kind of Cancer Story as Told by a Wonderful Dog
Today, there are plenty of books that honor the memory of people who died from cancer or celebrate those who survived it. However, not many of them are about a dog. For Maryly Turner, though, her dog’s fight with cancer was certainly a touching story worth sharing with the world.

There are probably dozens, if not hundreds of books about cancer. Many of them are filled with either the reflections and recollections of people who died from it or the moving stories of survivors as they fought on.
Maryly Turner not only tells a bit of both her book but also focuses it all on the story of one unlikely hero: A Rottweiler named Quinn.

It all began when Turner came home exhausted after a fruitless visit to the Sacramento SPCA. She really missed the company of a dog, with Rottweilers being her favorite.
That was when she started looking through the local paper and spotted an ad putting up a fully grown Rottweiler for adoption.
Little did she know that the fateful morning she called to adopt Quinn would really change her life.
The story shares the many ways that Quinn had not only transformed Turner’s life but also impacted the bigger family he had become a part of.
Maryly Turner was usually no stranger to the passing of pets as she had been living with a Rottweiler since 1985.
