Judy V. Rentz Shares Her Battle with Physical Suffering in Her Book “Fighting to Survive”

Judy V. Rentz’s book, “Fighting to Survive,” was last exhibited by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 London Book Fair. The book trade fair occurred last April 18-20, 2023, at Olympia London, London, UK.

Judy Rentz has been suffering from an unusual pain since she was four years old. When she was twenty-five years old, she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia pain, an uncommon muscle and joint pain. On one unfortunate day in June 2007, after gardening, Judy found herself going home and lying down with a dull lower back ache. The pain she had been enduring lasted for four weeks and worsened.

She went to see a doctor and was prescribed light pain medication and muscle relaxers with little to no pleasant effect. She was prescribed even more medications and tried physical therapy but had no luck. For six years, Judy Rentz suffered from unbearable pain while she sought a doctor who could help and understand what she was going through.

Despite the pain she has been suffering from time to time, Judy is an energetic and skilled woman. She loves gardening, landscape, and design. Judy was first self-taught and then decided to study gardening at the Penn State campus in Pittsburg.

She shares her story about how she survived with the help of her faith in God. She writes this book for people who suffer from a similar condition or are diagnosed with an uncommon disease.

However, with her husband’s job with JC Penney Co., they’ve moved from one side of the country to the other, seeing much and learning to meet people from all locations in the world. They had a great time showing their two children some wonderful sights in this amazing country.

Judy loves all people, but nothing has impressed her more than the upbringing she had in their small country area outside of Maryville, TN. She credits her mother. Studying every afternoon was her lifeline. She told them many times how the Bible would have them live. This is Judy’s most cherished memory and certainly has contributed to the person she is today—not perfect, but always forgiving.
