Brian Jay Nelson’s “The Portal of Time” Compelled Readers at the 2023 London Book Fair

Brian Jay Nelson’s “The Portal of Time: Branchview Book Three” was exhibited at the 2023 London Book Fair, which was held at Olympia London, Hammersmith Road, London, last April 18-20, 2023. The exhibit was powered by ReadersMagnet, a self-publishing and book marketing company.

“The Portal of Time” is the third book in Nelson’s Branchview series that follows Steven Spencer, a paranormal novelist who received a mysterious message on his computer screen beckoning him to the Branchview Estate. He and his wife, Loraine Spencer, found out the family had been entangled in a centuries-old struggle with witchcraft, and a satanic cult called The Secret Society. Steven later found out that he was the illegitimate child of Penelope Locke Branch.

In “The Portal of Time,” Steven unknowingly entered a time portal that took him back to 1697, where he witnessed the beginning of the Branchview Estate and The Secret Society. In the present day, Loraine found a way to bring Steven back by asking for help from the immortal gods Poseidon and Zeus. One of the best ideas to bring him back was to send someone to get him. So, they recalled the spirit of Charlotte Locke to do the task.

While they were trying to get back to the present day, Loraine found out that others had also wandered into the portal over two centuries and were never seen or heard of again. Will Steven and Charlotte ever find their way back?

Author’s Biography

Brian was born and raised in Erie Pa., and graduated from Penn State University. He’s been a lifelong writer in addition to his job at FedEx, where he retired in 2017 to pursue writing on a fulltime basis. He has done screenwriting for the movie industry for 20+ years, and started writing novels in 2018. He also lived in North Carolina for 12 years, and now resides on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Aside from writing, he enjoys health and fitness, classic cars, historic preservation, and antiquing.
