Organizational growth and customer success prompt further executive management team expansion

We continue to add incredible talent to our executive leadership team.

FluentStream, the preferred cloud communications provider by small and midsize organizations, announced today its new Vice President of Engineering, Ray Lieu, who now oversees product development and software engineering. This marks FluentStream’s fifth executive addition in less than 18 months as the company continues to enhance the customer and partner experience. FluentStream grew its customer base by 78% over two years and expanded its partnerships by 235% last year alone.

“We continue to add incredible talent to our executive leadership team,” said Cass Gilmore, CEO, FluentStream.

FluentStream’s CTO, Theo Zourzouvilys, added, “Ray brings a unique mix of industry-specific knowledge and leadership expertise coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit and a growth mindset that aligns well with our culture and growth strategy.”

Prior to joining FluentStream, Lieu served as an executive leader across multiple roles, including software development, product management, operations and marketing. He was a co-founder of M5 Networks, a UCaaS pioneer that was acquired by ShoreTel, later acquired by Mitel. Most recently, Lieu was in engineering management at Mitel. Before that, he was the Vice President of Internet Services for Asia Online and Vice President of Engineering for Interport Communications. Lieu has a proven track record of designing services that satisfy customer needs, building culture to engage employees and driving company growth.

“FluentStream is highly dedicated to delivering services that meet the needs of its customers and partners and keeping in step with industry developments,” said Lieu. “I’m impressed by what FluentStream has accomplished and look forward to contributing to the company’s next stage of growth.”

FluentStream also recently introduced Marissa Barcza as Vice President of Channel & Customer Success and Amber Tobias as Head of Corporate Development.
