Virginia E. Escandor was born and raised in the Philippines, Virginia E. Escandor worked as a nurse in New York City for thirty years. She started writing when she was a teen and was published in several magazines in her home country as well as in the United States. Her first book of poetry, “I Quote Myself,” was published in 2012.
