Luis Zaensi’s Crime Novel About Suspicion With High Stakes is Exhibited at the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2023
Luis Zaensi is a retired law enforcement officer who has seen the good and bad sides of people often mix up in many ways. Much of this can be seen in his crime thriller “The Saint of the Hill,” a novel about a detective bent on exposing a suspected mob boss at his idyllic tourist complex at a remote Italian isle. The novel was recently exhibited at the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2023 by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet.

Luis Zaensi may have retired from law enforcement, but he hasn’t retired from reflecting on what his experience taught him. Salvatore stakes out at the compound, desperate to find anything that could nail Don Franco as the head of it all.
