Dr. Joan A. Polidore is the daughter of Mr. Cyril and Christian Dejean. She is the ninth of sixteen children. She was born at Morne Prosper on the Caribbean island of Dominica. Pastor Polidore was determined to study the word of God.

In 1979, Dr. Polidore relocated to the USA due to the destruction of Dominica by Hurricane David. Dr. Polidore is married to Pastor Julian Polidore and they are the proud parents of four professional duaghters, Beverly, Julia, Amanda and Deborah.

Dr. Polidore was a member of Gospel Light House Assemble and was a committed servant for the Lord. While there, she attended Bethel Bible Institute and acquired her Associate Degree in Theology, in 1999. Dr. Polidore was a member of Abundant Life Ministry and served as Evangelist and Dean of the Bible School.

She acquired her Master of Divinity at Vision International. She was ordained Chaplain of the Christian Association of New York and Doctorate in Christian Counseling. She was ordained Elder and together with her husband founded Agape Ministries Inc. and Christian Academy where she served as Pastor, youth Advocate, and the school administrator.

In 2014, Dr. Polidore returned to Dominica where she and her husband are presently pastoring the Warner Pentecostal Church.
