“Storm Front” follows two women from clashing religions: Lady Atlantis Vanessa von Stormsong, the only child of a rich Catholic Archduke, and Sarlatova, a Protestant thief who knows nothing about her past. The women might belong to different religions, yet they both have a strong faith in God. They try to find peace and a way out of war in the violent and powerful male-dominated world. As the raging war continues across Europe, both women find themselves together on a quest to stop the violence and find out who the real enemy is.
The author uses his voice to convey that even godly religious groups can still go blind and follow the wrong path. Religion still has a powerful impact that leads people to start wars and instill fear in others. A war between two religions can truly affect a great number of people that get stuck in the middle. Sometimes, male-dominated religious sects can blind their followers through wrong teachings. Even in the brokenness and misinterpretations of the scriptures, enlightened individuals can still see the truth and seek true peace.

After having taught American, World, and European History for thirty years, Stephen A. Reger is spending his retirement writing about what the history textbooks leave out. Stormfront is his debut novel. He currently teachers American Literature in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he resides with his wife, Amy, and his two sons, Jacob and Caleb.
