This groundbreaking anthology takes the readers on journey of transformative adventure.

Dean McFalls’ “Delivered on Christmas” was last displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 London Book Fair, which took place on April 18-20, 2023, at Olympia London, London, UK.

“Delivered on Christmas” is a brilliant anthology, an integrated bouquet of poems and reflections based on the harsh realities of our world and the promise of deliverance. McFalls’ stories are as diverse as the challenges we face. Each poem tackles a unique crisis or dilemma and offers a pathway into the light of new hope. Whether dealing with fantasies, historical events, poverty, displacement, despair, crime, addiction, or warfare, his treatment of these themes is masterful.

To set the stage and showcase the meter he uses, McFalls retells the Christmas classic, “The Night Before Christmas.” His 20 original versions of the beloved story begin with imaginary dramas, but quickly go far deeper. Episodes 16 and 17, for example, focus on the COVID-19 pandemic and the legions of issues surfaced by the lockdowns. Other episodes feature World War II, the Cold War, the arms race, immigration, family divisions, incarceration, and betrayal.

At the same time, McFalls makes no secret of his Christian faith, weaving messages of hope and deliverance into all his episodes. In fact, these were initially called the “Triumph of Innocence”.

“Delivered on Christmas” is for the young and old from all walks of life. Readers will find a poem and narrative prose that speaks to their circumstances. This rich anthology of Christian fiction, historical drama, and personal testimony centers on the Incarnation and birth of Jesus Christ, and the difference the Risen Lord continues to make in our present day. McFalls urges readers to share the stories of this book, reading them aloud to family, friends, and loved ones. It is perfect for inmates, the home-bound, and people struggling with doubt and discouragement.

“Delivered on Christmas” was originally published in 2017, then expanded with new episodes in 2020 and 2021 to address the pandemic’s impact on our world. The upcoming Ultimate Edition (summer, 2023) will add two final episodes: one called “Hope for Ukraine”, the other “The Final Hour”. Beyond his 20 stories, Dean has added several other inspirational poems for families.

The book also contains Dean’s illustrations and commentaries, as well as photographs related to the unfolding events of world history since he began writing. See www.deanmcfalls.com.
