A.E. Fortin’s Book “Magic Fairy Rose in Lowland of Scotland” Tells a Romantic Story in the Midst of Darkness

A.E. Fortin’s “Magic Fairy Rose in Lowland of Scotland” was exhibited by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 London Book Fair. The book trade fair was held last April 18-20, 2023, at Olympia London, London, UK.

The author tells a dark tale in the world of human-sized fairies in “Magic Fairy Rose in Lowland of Scotland.” A Fairy kingdom found in a hidden valley in the Lowlands of Scotland has human-sized Fairy inhabitants. One day, a Fairy woman was taken into the Valley of the Dead, but she had no memory of what happened. All she knew was she was pregnant, and nobody had any idea who the father was. She died not long after giving birth to a boy.

Many speculated that a demon made the Fairy woman pregnant. For the baby to survive, his mother had to die. The people called the boy, Marcuse. He was trouble. He was evil, so he was banished.

Kina was the last child of King Jonathan and Queen Marviline. She was set to take her mother’s crown when the time comes. Queen Marviline had a close friend, who has a child, a boy named Kenyon. When Kenyon and Kina were introduced as toddlers, they already had a close bond.

Raiman, Kina’s older brother, learned how to use the water for surveillance, an ability he got from his father. When he used the water to find out why Marcuse was after Kina, he saw the future of Kenyon battling Marcuse while his father was slaying demons. With that, he wants to find the reason why Marcuse was also after Kenyon.

In the parallel world, outside the Fairy realm, are the humans. A young Thomas learned that he was set to marry his best friend’s little sister, Eleanor. It was only nine months since the burial of his nephew and sister-in-law. Four people were still missing. Two of them were his brothers. He had the need to embark on a journey to find his brothers because he was not ready to marry. Days came when Thomas had to court Eleanor and develop what they truly feel for each other.

A.E. Fortin, a waterski enthusiast, and a speed boat driver that can jump two large waves. Went to Virginia for a car shows and met NASCAR drivers and drove her truck on a race car track. She helped to raise fund for Veterans. During the Vietnam time, she married her high school sweetheart. For 20 years as a Navy wife and had a 2 boys and 1 girl, together with their 7 grandchildren. 49 years married with her High school lover. She had a motorcycle accident in 2010 but never stopped from writing to keep her memory and love. “You can do anything you put your mind.”
