Tanya Boynay’s Touching Story of Birthday Gifts and The Greatest Gift of Faith Heads Off to Global Book Exhibits

Kids love birthdays, and they love the stories about them. This goes especially when it’s all about the gifts that they receive. This is why Christian author Tanya Boynay used it as the sweet premise of her children’s story: “The Greatest Gift.”

“The Greatest Gift” tells the story of little Ellie who is about to turn 10. Ellie looks forward to her birthday very much as she is excited about all the gifts she’ll be getting. She’s even thinking further ahead and telling her dad what bigger gifts she wants, like a phone, new clothes, a car, and a whole lot more!

During breakfast, her dad tells her something that is a little different. He asks her if she knows about “the greatest gift” of all.

For many Christians, no gift is greater than the one given by Jesus, and this book is a heartwarming introduction to Him. Ellie’s dad tells her the story about salvation, what it means for her, and how she can also share this gift with others.

Ellie actually goes on to demonstrate a lot of touching examples of how this gift is shared with her friends. Young readers will certainly learn a lot from its pages, especially since the story is also cutely illustrated.

Boynay has been a Christian for most of her life and had actually served as a public school teacher before she felt the call to become an author. The journey had been one of immense faith, and she believes the Holy Spirit served as a tremendously helpful guide in writing her book. It’s now set for book display at book events all around the world.
